The concept was developed by Dave and Pat Gerard who both believed in a high quality product, provided by service-minded employees in a cozy atmosphere. Their vision was to become a business that would grow and give back to the people of Gilmer County. The Chew Choo Junction has contributed to the local community in many forms—providing lunch and dinner platters, financial donations, as well as all of our employees donating 100% of any tips received to a local charity.
